TAI CHI training involves five elements:

  • Qi-Gong (breathing, movement and awareness exercises and meditation),

  • Taolu (solo hand and weapons routines/forms)

  • Neigong and

  • Tuishou (response drills) and

  • Sanshou (self-defence techniques) ...

Tai Chi Qi Gong practice is aimed at developing good posture and breathing leading up to calmness of body and mind.

Regular practice can lead to improved mood, decreased stress reaction, and decreased anxiety and depression.

Qigong is practiced for meditation and self-cultivation as part of various philosophical and spiritual traditions.

As meditation, qigong is a means to still the mind and enter a state of consciousness that brings serenity, clarity and bliss.
